讲座简介：
从源头消减化学工业快速发展带来的事故风险，离不开化工过程本质安全设计。本次系列讲座旨在探讨化工过程本质安全设计与粉尘爆炸事故预防的关键问题，将涵盖以下四个方面内容：化学过程本质安全设计的基本原理与实践；基于本质安全设计的风险管理；工业场所粉尘爆炸事故致灾机理；粉尘爆炸风险防控技术措施。通过这些内容的探讨，旨在提高对化工过程本质安全设计与粉尘爆炸事故风险防控的认识水平。
Reducing the accident risk caused by the rapid development of the chemical industry from the source is inseparable from the inherently safer design （ISD） of chemical processes. This lecture series aims to discuss the key issues of inherently safer design of chemical processes and the prevention of dust explosion accidents, and will cover the following four aspects: the basic principles and practices of inherently safer design of chemical processes; risk management based on inherently safer design; disaster mechanism of dust explosion accidents in industrial sites; technical measures for prevention and control of dust explosion risk. Through the discussion of these contents, the aim is to improve the understanding level of inherently safer design of chemical processes and risk prevention and control of dust explosion accidents.
主讲人简介：
Paul Amyotte是加拿大达尔豪斯大学过程工程与应用科学系杰出研究教授和化学工程教授，并在2011—2020年担任C.D.Howe智库过程安全领域主席。Paul Amyotte教授是过程安全领域的国际知名专家，加拿大工程院院士，曾担任加拿大化学工程学会、加拿大工程师协会的主席。同时为Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries的现任编辑。Paul Amyotte教授在同行评审期刊或国际会议上发表了6本书、9本书的章节和350多篇论文。他曾受邀在美国、加拿大、法国、荷兰、意大利、挪威、波兰、卡塔尔、马来西亚等国的研讨会上作大会特邀报告。Paul Amyotte教授曾为多个涉及危险性分析、事故调查和材料爆炸性的工业项目提供咨询。他在过程安全领域的研究和实践包括代表美国国家科学院（NAS）、美国国家职业安全与健康研究所（NIOSH）和美国化学安全委员会（CSB）提供专家评审和证词。凭借在过程安全领域教育、研究和服务活动的杰出与持续贡献，他获得了波兰科学院Cyberski奖章、Mary Kay O'Connor过程安全中心Trevor Kletz卓越奖、加拿大化学工程学会过程安全管理奖等多个奖项。
Dr. Paul Amyotte is a distinguished research professor & Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Process Engineering and Applied Science at Dalhousie University （Canada） where he held the C.D.Howe Chair in Process safety from 2011-2020. Professor Amyotte is an internationally renowned expert in process safety. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and is a past-president of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering and Engineers Canada. Professor Amyotte is the current editor of the Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries. He has an extensive record of authorship, with six books, nine book chapters and over 350 papers published in peer-reviewed journals or international conferences. He has presented invited plenary lectures at symposia in the United States, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Malaysia, etc. Prof. Amyotte has consulted on numerous industrial projects involving hazard analysis, incident investigation, and material explosibility. His research and practice in the fields of process safety have included the provision of expert reviews and testimony on behalf of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences （NAS）, the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health （NIOSH）, and the U.S. Chemical Safety Board （CSB）. With outstanding and continuous contributions in the field of process safety education, research, and service activities, he has won many awards such as the Cyberski Medal of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Trevor Kletz Excellence Award of Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center, and the Process Safety Management Award of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering.
